Destiny 2 - Early Impressions

Destiny 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of this year. Backpacking off of the first game's previous success, Destiny 2 opened up its year by selling more than 50,000 copies and receiving generally positive reviews. Destiny 1 was a popular game but was brought down by overwhelming claims of bland and repetitive gameplay. Having played the original Destiny and getting my hands on Destiny 2, I can say that Bungie, the studio that creates the games, listened to its critics from the first game and addressed every issue with the first game. I've played roughly 15%-20% of the game and from my initial impressions I can tell I'll enjoy the new and improved game. The story is both gripping and cohesive, with fun and intense gameplay that compliment each other throughout. The online gameplay is a bit bothersome however. I feel as though I've played the same map and game mode every time I play competitively. I'm not sure why this is but hopefully Bungie is able to offer some more variety as time goes on.
