This site is dedicated to me sharing my thoughts and opinions on the current events in the world of sports, music and video games. I will give weekly updates about all three and there will be opportunities for anyone who wants to voice their opinions about my posts. 

 

This site is lead by myself, Elijah Moore. I am currently an electronic media and broadcasting major at Appalachian State University. My mother served in the United States Coast Guard, and through that, I have been able to travel the country. I have experienced different cultures and have cultivated many different interests and opinions. From experiencing the production of both music and video games to adopting the different sporting fanships from location to location I feel as though I'm in a place now where I can properly discuss these topics.

I have always had a passion for writing and sharing stories and opinions. While I attended high school, I was the first place recipient of the Pauli Murray Award which is an award given to an essay contest winner who commemorates the life of Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray. Who suffered from racial and gender discrimination. For the award, I talked about the hardships my mother went through while in the Coast Guard and received first place for sharing her story.

 

Ever since the award I've felt like I've had a calling for sharing stories and thoughts, which is how the focus of the Arc was created. It is geared for open conversation and discussions about the topics I, or anyone else, deem necessary to talk about.
